Adherence to Sharia law

The Council for Fair Financing and Sustainable Development (CFSD) is an organization that monitors compliance with the principles of ethics and fairness. All decisions concerning business processes at IMAN are subject to oversight by this council.

The compliance of IMAN's business processes with the principles of Islamic finance has been confirmed by a certificate from Mufti Hasan Ashraf Usmani, the children of Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, and the company USMANI'S.

Experience:

– Member of the Sharia Board of Faisal Bank in Pakistan;
– Sharia consultant at Atlas Asset Management;
– Head of the Department of Islamic Banking and Finance at the University of Greenwich;
– Member of the working group that developed the AAOIFI standards;

Education:

Dr. Mufti Hasan Usmani is a scholar with a doctorate in Islamic finance. He graduated from Jamia Darul Uloom University in Pakistan as an Islamic scholar and specializes in Islamic law and fatwas.

About the scientist:

Dr. Mufti Hasan Ashraf Usmani is a renowned expert in Islamic finance and jurisprudence, and the founder and president of USMANI'S, a financial consulting firm operating in Turkey and Pakistan. He is also the son of Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, a world-renowned expert in Islamic finance and chairman of AAOIFI (Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions).

The Chairman of the Sharia Board, Dr. Ziyad Muhammad, is an Islamic law consultant.

At IMAN, Dr. Ziyad is responsible for conducting annual audits of businesses to ensure their compliance with fair financing rules and issuing fatwas on the reliability of financial processes.

Education: Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Finance, INCEIF, Anglia Ruskin University.

Experience: Over 20 years in commercial banking (HSBC Amanah) and consulting companies.
